CUSAT 2014, Cochin University of Science and Technology released a notification about admission for B Tech, MBA, MCA and many other PG courses in the university on 15.01.2014. The Common Admission Test for the academic year 2014- 15 (CAT 2014) will be conducted on 26.04. 2014 and 27.04.2014. The Common Admission Test for the B. Tech. courses will be held on the 27.04.2014 and the Common Admission Test for PG courses will be held on 26.04.2014.
This university was established in year of 1971 in name of University of Cochin by Kerala government from the "New Scientific Policy " resolution by the central Government. In 1981 The University of Cochin was reorganized as Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) . Only few departments in the University for few years, departments like Engineering, Environmental Studies, Humanities, Law, Marine Sciences, Medical Sciences and Technology, Science, Social Sciences and Technology. In 1996 many other department start functioning in the university like Microprocessor Research, National Manpower Information, Rural Development & Appropriate Technology, Ocean Electronics Science in Society, Information Resource Management, Neuro Science, Creative Writing, Comparative Literature, Population Studies, Aquatic Animal Health, Monsoon Studies, Economic Policy and Analysis & Adult and Extension education.
Online registration for admission test start on 20.01.2014 and registration process closed on 25.02.2014. International students those who like to apply in the university can register until 21.04.2014. CUSAT extended online registration dates for M.Tech. and MBA programme. Student who like to do their PG M.Tech and MBA in the university can register from 15.03.2014 to 21.04.2014. Registration fee can pay through Bank until 24. 04 2014.
Common Admission Test will be conducted in New Delhi, Kolkota, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Jamshedpur, Allahabad, Lucknow, Ranchi, Varanasi, Kota and Dubai. The test will held in various part in the state of Kerala also. Students can download the admit card for the test in official website from 10.04.2014. The duration test will be two hour.
Test will be held on 26.04.2014 for following subjects from 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM.
