The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala, recently released the notification of the Common Entrance Test (NIMCET- 2014) for admission to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in the official website. Online application invites from interested candidate. NIMCET 2014 offered by eleven NITs at Calicut, Tiruchirappalli, Warangal, Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, and Surathkal for the academic year 2014-15 admission process.
To apply for this test Student should scored at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe applicants) in B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons.)/BCA/Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) of three years full time or BE/B.Tech. holders with 60% marks (55% Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe applicants) or Student those appearing for the qualifying examination in 2014 are also eligible to appear for the test.
The Students who have applied for the examination should complete the test in two hours. This national-level test will be held on 25.05.2014 from 10 AM to 12 PM. NIMCET-2014 will be conduced with only one question paper. The question paper contains 120 multiple choice questions from Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, General English. Each Question carries four marks and each wrong answer will lead to a negative mark.

The NIMCET 2014 will be conduced in following centers Calicut, Tiruchirappalli, Warangal, Surat, Surathkal, Patna, Delhi, Raipur, Bhopal, Allahabad, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kolkata. Candidate can use online application till 03.04.2014.Take a printout of the generated application and send it along with relevant documents by speed post or registered post to the following postal address on or before 17.04.2014.
