EAMCET 2014 Online Application form

EAMCET stands for Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. This is one of the important entrance exam held in Andhra Pradesh  for the admission to some of the Engineering and Medical college in the state. EAMCET Online application submission starts from 20.02.2014 and the exam will be held in 17.02.2014. Official notification EAMCET will be released on 10.02.2014.


Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad conducted the EAMCET on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. Candidate who like to do their graduate in Engineering and Medical stream can write the entrance exam. Result will be based on the EAMCET and Intermediate marks. 75% from EAMCET and 25% from Intermediate exam. Entrance exam fee can pay in AP online, E-seva and Mee seva Centers in Andhra Pradesh. EAMCET  engineering stream exam will be held on 17.05.2014 in forenoon section from 10 AM to 1 PM and for medical stream will be in afternoon section from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM.


According to eligibility for this entrance test candidate should complete the school education in 10+2 pattern. There is no upper age limit to write the test. There is no minimum mark mentioned for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. If they getting low mark in entrance test, they can get seat 25%  weight age through Intermediate exam mark.  

Question paper for this test will be multiple choice, There is no negative marks all the questions carry equal marks. There are 160 questions will be asked in test. 40 questions from Physics, 40 questions from Chemistry and 80 questions from Biology. From this year OMR sheet will be given to candidate to mark the answers. Candidate should use only black or blue pen to mark answers.  More than four lakh candidate will appear for the entrance test of this year .

In the past years only science subject had the practical exam, now mathematics subject also practical exam carry 20 marks. Call letter for interview will be sent to Candidate (who will going to attend the interview) separately by post. as per official notification of UPSC the interview process for Deputy Controller of Explosive will be held in Delhi from 24th February 2014 to 27th February 2014.    

Candidate who come to interview should bring  their original certificates with one set of attested copy for certificate verification. Candidate should keep in mind that no request in change the date of interview will be allowed, if u have change in postal address please contact the commission at once. Candidate should bring their call letter with them and report to the reception officer of the commission strictly on the date and time allocated for the interview to inform your presence.    

During the certificate verification or confirmation if any information wrong or any any claim made by you in your certificates, your application will be legally responsible to be rejected and you may also be debarred either permanently or for a specified period by the

• Commission from any examination or selection held by them
• The Central Government from any employment under them

If you are already in service under the Government you would be liable to disciplinary action under the rule.

During the months of February the weather at Delhi is very cold. Candidate are advised to provide themselves Safe.

Using mobile phones and other electronic things in the Union Pubic Service Commission premises is banned. Candidates are advised  to  avoid  bringing  mobile  phones  with  them,  as  the Commission does not take on to keep them for their care.
