Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is also known as GATE, This is one of the most important competitive exam in India. The score of the GATE is used for the admission of master degree, not only for government institution many of the private institution in India also used the score for their admission process. This exam conducted jointly venture by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) on behalf of on National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The official announcement of GATE result of this year will be on 28.03.2014, Candidate who are attend the GATE 2014 can check their result in the official website. In last two year results totally 15.81% of candidate qualified in GATE 2102 and totally 13.88% of candidate qualified in GATE 2013. In 2012 Delhi zone had the highest number of qualified candidates (18,927). There are 22,476 candidate qualified in Andhra Pradesh in GATE 2013 and it got first place in 2013 result when compared to other states in India. Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur organised the GATE 2014
