Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission released the recruitment  notification for the Group I  Combined Engineering Services on 24.03.2014. That include Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health and Assistant Engineer in PWD. Application invited from the interested candidate to fill the vacancy. More than one lakh applied for the post. Candidate who had wish to apply for the vacancy, applied for the post before 24.04 2014 and Candidate paid the exam fee through Bank and Post office before 26.04.2014 as per the instruction mention in the notification.

Number of vacancy in each department are Assistant Engineer in Water Resources Department, PWD : 50, Assistant Engineer in Buildings, PWD : 21, Assistant Engineer Electrical in PWD : 9, Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health (Formerly named as Assistant Inspector of Factories) : 18. Candidate who will selected for these post their pay scale will be RS.9300 - 34800 and grade pay Rs. 5100 per month. candidate will be selected based on performance of written examination in OMR format and oral test.

• Click the online services link
• Click the "Hall Ticket Download"
• New link will open tnpscexams.net
• Find the exam and click the hall ticket option
• Now enter your register number 
• Then click the submit button
• admit card will appear
