Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission 2014 Counselling start on 07.07.2014 Many number of student came for the counselling and selected the department in which they want to join. 2399 student called for first day of counselling according to the Engineering cut-off. students having cut-off range from 200 to 198.75 for the first day of counselling. Only 1669 students came for the counselling on 7th July 2014. 730 students not coming for the counselling and 6 students not show interest to join even though they came for the counselling. Totally 1663 student got admission in first day counselling.
Second Day Counselling
Student having cut-off range from 198.50 to 196.50 called for second day of counselling on 08.07.2014. 4616 students were called for second day counselling, 3705 students came for second day counselling.
911 student not come, In 3705 students 35 student not show interest to join. 3670 students got admission in second day counselling. The absent percent of second day counselling 19.74% .
Department Selection
when seeing previous counselling student shows interest to join in three department, they are Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. This year also many of the student show interest to join in Electronics and Communication Engineering. By past two days most of the student select the Electronics and Communication Engineering department, next many student choose Mechanical department and Computer Science department.
