High Court of Gujarat recently released the recruitment notification for the post of stenographer. Online application invited from interested candidate from 14.02.2014. Candidate who like to join kindly apply in online before 28.02.2014. There are 368 vacancies for the post of Stenographers which includes Gujarati and English Grade I and Grade II level in other courts in the state of Gujarat.
Eligibility
Candidates age should between 18 years to 35 years. Age relaxation applicable as per Government rules. Candidates should also have completed Graduation in any discipline (or equivalent) from a recognized university and have basic computer operation knowledge. According to speed level
English Stenographer Grade - I : English Short Hand should be 120 w.p.m and speed in English Typing should be 40 w.p.m.
English Stenographer Grade - I I: English Short Hand should be 100 w.p.m and speed in English Typing should be 40 w.p.m.
Gujarati Stenographer Grade - I : Gujarati Short Hand should be 90 w.p.m and speed in Gujarati Typing should be 25 w.p.m.
Gujarati Stenographer Grade - II : Gujarati Short Hand should be 75 w.p.m and speed in Gujarati Typing should be 25 w.p.m.
Salary package for these post would be Rs. 9300-34,800 and Grade Pay Rs 4400. Selection process for these post in three steps

- Main Examination - Objective type written examination Should be completed in two hours (100 marks)
- Practical/Skill Test : Shorthand & Typing (50 marks )
- Interview (50 Marks)
